John C. Maxwell

Growth, to me, is not something we rush into or force into being. It is something we build: gently, intentionally, and from the inside out. True, lasting growth begins with a solid foundation. And that foundation must be rooted in love, light, forgiveness, and a commitment to continuous self-healing. Without these, growth can feel unstable, like trying to stand tall without something steady beneath you. But when you take the time to nurture your inner world, you create a space that can hold you, support you, and sustain you through every season of change. Grounding yourself is an essential part of this process. When you are grounded, you are present. You are connected: to the earth, your body, and your truth. From this place, you can begin to build. You can listen more deeply, move more intentionally, and grow in a way that feels aligned rather than rushed. Just as important is the practice of clearing. We cannot stay rooted in love if we are weighed down by negative energy, old wounds, or limiting beliefs. Growth asks us to release what no longer serves us to make space for something lighter. It's not always easy, but it's always worth it. There will be growing pains and moments of discomfort, uncertainty, and doubt. But when your foundation is built on love and light, you will always have a place to land. A place to return to. A place that reminds you of who you are, even when the path feels unclear. I truly believe that everything we need already exists within us. The strength, the wisdom, the courage. It’s all there. And if we feel disconnected from it, we are never alone. If we simply ask, our angels and guides are always there, ready to support us, to nudge us forward, and to remind us of our inner light. Growth is not instant. It is not meant to be rushed. The kind of growth that lasts, the kind that transforms you at your core, requires patience. Give yourself permission to take your time. And along the way, you will make mistakes. It's not failure, it's part of the process. Each misstep is an opportunity to learn, soften, and deepen your understanding of yourself. If fear begins to rise meet that fear with love. Let love be louder. Let it guide you forward. Growth is not about becoming someone new. It's about returning to who you have always been and building a life that reflects that truth.

Affirmations are a simple yet effective way to shift your mindset. When negative or fearful thoughts arise, repeating positive statements helps interrupt those patterns and redirect your focus. Research on neuroplasticity shows that the brain can rewire itself with consistent practice—meaning affirmations can gradually strengthen new, more positive thought pathways. For best results, make affirmations a regular habit to train your mind toward optimism and resilience.
I grow and evolve with ease and grace.
I embrace the unknown.

"Glorious"
Artist: Macklemore ft. Skylar Grey
2017
You know I'm back, like I never left (I never left)
Another sprint, another step (Another step)
Another day, another breath (Another breath)
Been chasing dreams, but I never slept (I never slept)
I got a new attitude and a lease on life and some peace of mind
Seek and I find, I can sleep when I die
Want a piece of the pie, grab the keys to the ride
And shit I'm straight, I'm on my wave, I'm on my wave
Get out my wake, I'm running late, what can I say?
I heard you die twice, once when they bury you in the grave
And the second time is the last time that somebody mentions your name
So when I leave here on this earth, did I take more than I gave?
Did I look out for the people, or did I do it all for fame?
Legend, it's exodus, searching for euphoria
Trudging through the mud to find the present, no ignoring us
Got 20,000 deep off in the street like we some warriors
My mama told me never bow your head, woo
Chorus:
I feel glorious, glorious
Got a chance to start again
I was born for this, born for this
It's who I am, how could I forget?
I made it through the darkest part of the night
And now I see the sunrise
Now I feel glorious, glorious
I feel glorious, glorious
I'm feeling glorious
The crib looking Victorian (Oh yes it is)
You know that we been going in (Been going in)
Since we hopped out that DeLorean (DeLorean, yeah we win)
En garde, things are just things, they don't make you who you are
Can't pack up a U-Haul and take it with you when you're gone
We posted on the porch, my family's glasses to the stars
My grandma smiling down on me like "Woo, that boy got bars"
Okay, okay, yes I do
I said amen and hallelujah, let me testify too
Another morning, a morning, won't let self get in my way
I got my breath, I got my faith and I remember why I came, woo
Chorus
We gon' be alright, put that on my life
When I open my eyes, hope I see you shine
We're planting a flag, they don't understand
The world is up for grabs (Hey, hey, hey)
We gon' be alright, put that on my life
When I open my eyes, hope I see you shine
We're planting a flag, they don't understand
The world is up for grabs (Hey, hey, hey)
Chorus
